Biography
Born in Kelowna, British Columbia, and raised in Vancouver, Taylor Kitsch knew at an early age that performing would be his destiny. He moved to New York in 2002 upon receiving an opportunity to pursue modeling with IMG and study acting with coach Sheila Gray. He stayed in New York for two years and signed with Untitled Entertainment. Taylor also became certified as a nutritionist and personal trainer while living in New York. Shortly after returning to Vancouver in 2003, he landed his first major role alongside Samuel L. Jackson in David Richard Ellis' intense action feature 'Snakes on a Plane'.
Taylor moved to Los Angeles for eight months in 2004 to continue studying acting. He did print modeling jobs for Nous Model Management. Taylor decided that it wasn't time to based in LA yet, and moved back to Vancouver in the summer of 2005, where he currently resides. He signed with Endeavour in March 2006.
In his spare time, Taylor enjoys spending time with family and friends, remains passionate about nutrition and fitness and pursues children's' charity work.
